I was born and raised in the south so I like to think that I know my BBQ. I am even sitting here writing this review while wearing a Central BBQ t-shirt (die hard BBQ lovers will understand). I ordered the Notorious PIG sandwich and was blow away, this is easily one of the best BBQ sandwiches that this 41 year old man has ever eaten. This location just recently opened and they are already firing on all cylinders. The Hot BBQ Sauce is amazing and I will come back the next time i am craving some good BBQ. Well done Fat Jack's in Elkins Park

Best BBQ around. Great customer service. Some friends and I called the wrong store and placed a large order. When I went to pick it up, obviously the food wasn't there but the manager insisted that he remake the order for us. Would highly recommend!

omg. Like I'm in heaven! They literally just opened hours ago and it's mobbed. I had brisket, chicken and a cheese burger. I also had an enormous salad for $5.99!!!! My husband and son and I are filled to the gills. Just what the neighborhood needed. I'll be back! Delish

Got a half slab of ribs with mild sauce, greens, beans, and cornbread. Ribs were moist and pretty flavorful. Beans were too sweet and greens just tasted odd; can't really describe how -- sourish. Cornbread was cakey and moist -- I liked it but it was a very small piece, even for a dollar. I had ordered take-out based on the company's website prices, only to find it was a dollar more on the bill when I picked up the order. I spoke with the cashier who brought over the manager(?) -- whoever it was behaved in a pretty arrogant manner, stating that the prices "change constantly based on the cost of the supplies" and "we don't have control over the company website." Nowhere was there any kind of acknowledgement of the fact that the meal cost more than the website said it would, let alone an apology. I don't need to be practically yelled at by the person I'm paying money to so probably won't return.
